FixTheBrain for Mental Health Practitioners has two goals;
1) The first goal is to train the practitioner in the brain’s effects on the body, and how to more precisely select therapies that can target specific parts of the brain within their scope of practice.
2) The second goal is to increase the skill level of the practitioner so that they may identify, refer to, collaborate with, inform, and ultimately work on a team with licensed clinicians.
Counselors need to screen their clients for neurological and metabolic functional imbalances in order to properly choose methods, or to refer in a timely and accurate fashion. The CNA course is designed for the scope of practice of the doctor of psychology, counselor or social worker who desires to identify clients who may benefit from functional neurology, metabolic assessment, neuro or biofeedback, chiropractic, acupuncture and massage as adjudicative therapies.
